I believe in treating a hostess like the star that she is!
To make her job even easier I like to give my hostess’s a little starter pack which normally includes Tea and biscuits which she can use at her event – or keep for herself! It also includes a catalogue, postcard invites and a Wish list so she can start planning what she would like and show friends some of the gorgeous products we’ll be using in the workshop.
Here is a sweet little bag I have prepared for a hostess.
The tea that I chose had really strong colours on the packaging; Elegant Eggplant, Bravo Burgundy and Night of Navy; which inspired me to create the gift bags.
I don’t naturally gravitate towards Regals which are described as Impressive, Warm and Rich but I also think it’s good to explore outside of your natural comfort zone.
I used the Lace Ribbon Border in Elegant eggplant. It really pops against the Ridinghoood Red Background. It was the first time I had used it and it’s really beautiful.
Stamp set is Flight of the butterfly stamped on Regals cardstock in VersaMark.
In clever Stampin’ Up! style there is a co-ordinated punch which cuts the Butterfly out perfectly.
VersaMark is a really handy inkpad to have as it creates a really effective watermark on any colour cardstock. It has a really long lifespan too and I have owned mine for over 4 years and never had any issues with inking. A VersaMark inkpad costs $13,95 and is also a very useful tool when embossing images.
So you want your own Hostess Bag? Let me know when you have time to book a workshop 😉
